Heavily Sedated

Stand · Fight · Advance

If you've promised yourself it would be different this time, you're not weak and you're not alone. This is a place to do the work honestly, one day at a time. The companion app to the book gives you daily check-ins, Tool Belt exercises, and P.A.T. tracking. When you want one, you get a real coach who has walked this road himself. It's private from the first click.

"As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." — Proverbs 27:17

What this is

Not theory. A road out.

The app walks with you through all 14 chapters of Heavily Sedated. Every Tool Belt exercise and every Going Deeper question is in it. The P.A.T. framework (Prayer, Accountability, Triggers) is built into your morning routine.

01

Daily check-in

Six questions, every day. Every honest check-in counts, including the hard days. A slip is something to learn from, not proof you've failed.

02

Tool Belt exercises

Every chapter's Going Deeper questions are built in. You write your answers privately and keep them to yourself until you choose to share.

03

MPS tracker

Rate Mind, Body, and Spirit every week. It's Chapter 10 in practice. See where you're growing and where you could use more support.

FIGHT & ADVANCE

Coach's line

Direct messages with a real coach who has fought this himself. It's not a chatbot and it's not a forum. You'll get a reply within 24 hours.

Inside the app

Five tabs. Ten minutes a day.

It works on any phone or computer, right in your browser. There's nothing to download from an app store, and no icon has to sit on your home screen unless you put it there.

The framework

P.A.T. Three tools. One daily check.

The book introduces them. The app keeps them in front of you every day.

P

Prayer

Your direct line. This is about relationship, not religion. Every morning the app shows you a verse matched to your chapter and helps you build a steady habit of prayer.

A

Accountability

You weren't made to carry this alone. Your accountability contacts are one tap away. Reach out before the hard moment, not after.

T

Triggers

What you can name, you can work with. Your personal trigger map lives in the app, and H.A.L.T. (Hungry, Angry, Lonely, Tired) gets checked daily.

S

S.A.L.T. check

Stressed, Ashamed, Lonely, Tired. Temptation hits hardest when you're already running on empty. The app checks in before you're too worn down to notice.

Is this for you?

You don't have to label it to start.

Some men here have struggled for years and feel out of control. Others watch less than they fear, but the guilt is crushing and they can't talk to anyone about it. Both are real, and they need different kinds of help.

Every plan starts with a short, private intake. It helps us point you to the right level of support, including when that means a licensed counselor instead of, or alongside, coaching.

Sometimes the struggle sits on top of something else: depression, anxiety, trauma, combat stress, drinking, or loss. Coaching can walk with you, but it can't treat those. If the intake suggests one of them is in play, we'll tell you straight and help you find licensed care.

Men who have gone first

You're not the first to stand here.

Both men worked with Chris and Eddie in person, before the app existed. Shared with permission.

I was exposed to porn when I was younger, and it didn't hit me until I moved out on my own. Once I had that taste, I would find myself watching for hours on end. It had effectively changed me for the worse. I didn't want to share my problem, thinking I was the only one dealing with this. I found a friend and opened up. We found Chris and Eddie and joined a small group. They really helped me open up and find out why I have this habit. The information helped me loosen the chains that had me bound for years — something I needed at the time.
— David C.
Chris changed my life in a lot of ways, through helping me get past my addiction, after countless other measures didn't end up working. Through our weekly time together, God used Chris's story and knowledge to help me through my struggles. While it was hard at the time, I'm so incredibly thankful for Chris and his dedication to seeing porn ruin fewer lives out there in the world.
— M.H.

Who built this

Men who have been where you are.

We're not psychologists writing about this from a distance. We're men who have lived it, and we work alongside licensed counselors when someone needs more than coaching.

Questions

Straight answers.

If your question isn't here, email chris@kingshipconsulting.com. A real person reads every message.

Privacy

Will anyone find out I signed up?

Not from us. We don't post, share, or announce anything, and we never contact anyone on your behalf without your permission. The one exception is an emergency where someone's life or safety is at risk (see "When would you ever break confidentiality?" below).

What shows up on my bank or card statement?

Charges appear under our company name, KINGSHIP CONSULTING. They never say "Heavily Sedated" and never mention addiction or recovery. Advance members can request additional discreet billing arrangements. Email us before you check out.

Who can see my check-ins and journal answers?

Stand: only you. Fight and Advance: you and your coach. Your coach sees your daily check-ins. He sees your Tool Belt answers only when you choose to share them. Other Fight members never see your check-ins or journal. No one else sees them: no church, no employer.

Who sees my intake answers?

Only your coach. They're used to make sure the plan fits you and to point you to licensed care if you need it. They're never shared with anyone else. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

Is the Fight group call private?

Every member agrees in writing to keep what's said in the group confidential. You use first names only, cameras are optional, and you share only what you choose. We can't guarantee what another man does, so share at a level you're comfortable with. If you need complete one-on-one privacy, choose Advance.

Will my coach tell my wife, pastor, or employer?

No. Your coach will not contact your spouse, pastor, employer, or anyone else without your permission, except in the safety situations described below.

When would you ever break confidentiality?

Only in these situations: if we believe you or someone else is in immediate danger; if we learn of abuse or neglect of a child or a vulnerable adult, which Texas law requires anyone to report; or if a court legally compels us. That's the full list.

Is this protected like therapy?

No, and we won't pretend otherwise. Coaching isn't licensed healthcare, so HIPAA and therapist-client privilege don't apply. We still treat everything you share as confidential and protect it carefully. If you need privileged, clinical care, see a licensed counselor. We're glad to work alongside one.

Do you sell my data or use tracking?

We don't sell or rent your information, and we never will. This website has no ad trackers or analytics. Note that the Amazon and Gumroad book pages are run by those companies, and they use their own tracking. If that concerns you, buy the book in person or ask us about another option.

Can I delete everything?

Yes. Email us from the address on your account and ask for deletion. We'll remove your account, intake, and app content within 30 days and confirm when it's done. Payment records we're legally required to keep are kept on Stripe, not in the app.

Getting help

Who is this for?

Christian men 18 and older who struggle with porn or compulsive sexual behavior and are ready to stop hiding. It's built on faith-based principles. You don't need to have everything figured out spiritually to start.

Do I have to call it an addiction?

No. Some men feel truly out of control. Others watch less than they fear, but the guilt and secrecy are wearing them down. Both deserve help, and the intake helps us figure out which kind fits. Sometimes the most useful thing is working on the shame itself.

Is this therapy or counseling?

No. It's life coaching and accountability. It doesn't replace licensed mental health or addiction treatment. You can use both, and we encourage it.

What if I'm also dealing with depression, trauma, or drinking?

That's common, and it matters. Coaching can't treat those, but a licensed counselor can. If your intake points that way, we'll tell you plainly and help you find one. Many men do both at the same time.

I'm in crisis right now. What do I do?

Call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), available 24/7, or call 911. Veterans can dial 988 and press 1. Don't wait for a coach to reply.

I slipped. Is it too late?

No. A slip isn't the end, and it doesn't erase the work you've done. It's information. Log it honestly in your check-in, tell your accountability partner, and keep going. That's exactly what this is built for.

Do I need to read the book first?

It helps, because the app follows the book chapter by chapter. If you haven't read it, start with the book. You can also start the app and read along.

Which plan should I choose?

Stand if you want a private daily tool on your own. Fight if you've tried alone and want 30 days walking with a coach and a small group of men. Advance if you want ongoing one-on-one help with maximum discretion.

Why are Fight and Advance limited?

Because a real person does the coaching. Fight cohorts are capped at 10 men so every man gets heard. Advance opens to 4 new men per month so every man gets real attention. When a plan is full, join the waitlist and we'll email you when a spot opens. No pressure and no charge.

When does the next Fight cohort start?

A new cohort starts each month. All 10 men start together, so join before the start date.

What happens when Fight's 30 days end?

Fight is a one-time payment and does not auto-renew. You'll never be charged again unless you choose to be. You keep the app for life. If you want to keep going with a coach, you can join another cohort or move to Advance.

How do I cancel Advance?

Email us anytime. Your plan stays active through the end of the month you've paid for, and you won't be billed again.

What's your refund policy?

Stand and Fight: if it isn't right for you, email us within 7 days of purchase for a full refund. Advance: cancel anytime; partial months aren't refunded. Full details are in our Terms of Service.

Can my wife be involved?

She deserves her own support first. Finding out about a husband's porn use often hits like a betrayal, and she shouldn't have to heal inside your recovery program. We built a separate page for her: For wives. If you both want to work on the marriage together later, a licensed counselor is the right person to guide that, especially any disclosure conversation.

How do I log in? I lost my access email.

Go to app.heavilysedated.com anytime, or use the Member login link at the top of this page. Lost your access details? Check your spam folder, then email us from the address you used at checkout and we'll resend them.

Do I need to download anything?

No. The app runs in your web browser on any phone, tablet, or computer, so nothing appears in an app store purchase history. You can add it to your home screen if you want quick access, or leave it off for more discretion.
